OPEN TICKETS are replaced with new tickets of equal or greater value (client must pay fare difference) providing that there is availability. No refund is applied. Same discounts are applied to both old and new tickets. Furthermore, vehicle tickets cannot be replaced by passenger tickets and vice versa.
In case of ticket loss, the passenger must inform the company before the departure. New tickets must be purchased for the trip. If the company establishes that the ticket has not been used by the passenger within 1 month after the scheduled trip, the passenger is entitled to a free ticket of equal value with the lost one.
A ticket change means changing the travel dates or upgrading accommodation. If the value of the new ticket is less, the passenger is not entitled to a refund. Changing the name of a passenger or the itinerary requires cancellation of the original ticket (see the cancellation policy of the company) and buying a new ticket.
ATTENTION! If the passenger has the tickets in his/her hands, they have to be returned to the issuing agent in order to replace them with new tickets.
According to EU Directive 98/41, all passengers’ names are mandatory for safety reasons on every sailing. When booking online, the passenger must provide his actual information and a valid telephone number, so that he/she can be informed in case of delay or cancellation. In case the passenger is not willing to disclose contact information, it shall be recorded in writing on the ticket.
