The city of Aegina and capital of the island is really unique.
It combines the elegance of the neoclassic mansions, that remind all who visit that they are in the first capital of the new Greek state, with its traditional island identity. The tour in the city begins with the very beautiful neoclassic mansions that are found along the length of the coast.
Saint Marina
Saint Marina is one of the most beautiful villages on the island and tourism here is most developed. One of the reasons being is that the temple of Afaia is to be found here. Saint Marina is 16 km from the city. It combines the green of the landscape with the wonderful sea breeze.
