Pyrgos

Pyrgos is the second largest village in Tinos. Most people distinguish it from the other villages of the island, perhaps not unjustly. It is filled with marvellous creations based on marble that give a sense of nobility, artistry and the unquenchable thirst of man for inspiration.

Ysternia

Ysternia is a picturesque village, situated on "Meroviglia". It is found on the west part of the island, 20 km from the Town of Tinos and is decorated with marble paved streets, arches and two storey houses with marble lintels and beautiful yards. It is a real balcony to the Aegean and has a magnificent view towards Syros.

Volax

Volax has a unique landscape. Scattered round rocks, like haphazardly thrown lumps on barren ground constitute a unique moonscape, unusual for the visitor.

Among the rocks lie white houses that create an unfamiliar architecture. In the village, there is a summer stone theatre where cultural events are organized in the summer.

Panormos

Panormos is the seaport of Pyrgos and one of the most beautiful destinations in Tinos. It is an ideal location with little traffic. It has a beautiful traditional little port with quality taverns all along the quayside. It is very close to the beaches of Rochari and Ag. Thalassa. You can plan your excursion to go swimming first and then to have a good meal.
